I took the Mad River Glen road (17?) which wasn't as nice as it used to be (4-5 years ago)

Also took the 100 North which was very nice and then the road right above Stowe which was just beautiful.

Crossed through the border in Richford where my car was searched. This has never happened to me before. It was quite satisfying since the car was absolutely empty of stuff. They are just doing their job.

Now the 911 does not give me goosebumps like the way my M Coupé used too. I mean I had goosebumps seeing her from afar in a parking lot. From any angle. The 911 does not do this to me. (First World problems).

It does hold up quite well in the twistys... I can still make the tail step out. The power is great, the amenities also. The sound is all in the rear... exhaust and engine, so that is a change. But maybe Chris is right, the Performance exhaust would be a notch better. But I will stick to this setup for a while.

Now looking into a set of 18in wheels and Michelin Alpin.

My only worry is my right foot comfort. I have a pain in my ankle while driving. Could it be pedal position? And can this be remedied?
Nice to hear. Bummer about the search at the boarder. I assume the C4S handles just a bit better than the M? I guess your going to have to build up / retrian new leg muscles for the pedal. Unless it persists, you may find a custom pedal in your future. Congrats on the new hot rod Lincoln.

I have not properly tested it yet. So I can't expand on my very limited review.

The pedal seems to be too perpendicular to the floor... maybe.

Thanks!

It must handle better... We will see when the car gets acclimated to my style of driving.

Probably is just a muscle re-training thing.

Tony, sick acquisition. Congrats. Sorry to hear of the other one. Can never be replaced

Nicolas, congrats on the m4. Saw you on pine and park while driving. Knew it was u cuz knew u had silverstone and i was sure ud keep the euro plate. I was right

Also saw ur vid of tremblant. I HAVE WORK TO DO!!!

Antony, that tesla. I need one. Gimme 7 years.

Everyone else, love you.

Now onto my question. Any tips on winter storage? Will likely store in garage. Heated. Bottom floor. Minimal humidity. Dusty. Will change oil before.

My questions are mostly regarding battery and fuel. Tires i can overinflate. Car will be stored mid nov/dec - march/april.

Thanks

Do oil change before
On top of over-inflating a little, if you have 4 thick sturdy sponge/rubber drive your 4 tires over it.
If you don't lock your car, you won't need trickle charger for the battery
alternative is to disconnect the battery
I left mine alone and not lock the doors in the garage.
I also never used fuel stabilizer in the tank, but you can for a piece of mind

Thanks for that too .

From my ride with you it is clear you have good talent. IMO, driving with DSC on (MDM) is holding back your progression to the next level. You tend to overdrive the car and let the nannies compensate. If you feel comfortable with it, it is time for you to take a step back to leap forward. You'll need to tone it down a notch or two to turn off the aids; forget about lap times. As you get re-aquainted with the car, you then can start building up speed again. You'll discover a completely different car and a new joy at driving. Just be aware that turing off the aids does increase the risks. You've got the talent to get there .

I'm returning to the idea of storing the Mini while I'm gone. Can someone recommend a professional place? I'm curious what the cost looks like.
