Here's a great image from the Royal Steering wheels website though.

It's basically a modified SE steering wheel, exactly what I'm looking for.

you still much better off going for an m sport wheel. as the se wheel even after being thickened is not the same thickness as the m sport.

Like that a lot and would be interested to know what it costs.

Here you go then, just got an email back.
Its £125 + £10 p&p.
They'll fit it for £15 in Aylesbury, or they will send one already modified for a £100 deposit pending the return of your old one.

So that's £135 posted and I've ordered the one in the pic but with black stitching.
I've not gone down the m-sport route mainly due to cost, but that I still have an all SE interior and just wanted to spruce up my shiney wheel.

I have now.
Mine arrived yesterday, fitted it today. Looks and feels great. A really good upgrade for £135 all in.
Old SE wheel

New modified wheel.
Thicker with perforated leather and thumb grips.

Mine are the same, but for the price paid I don't mind.

Great wheel, it's freshened up your interior.

Thanks guys.
The pics do make it look like there are creases on the thumb grips, but its more like shadows of material undulation as the leather stretches around that area.

It feels and looks much better than the pictures suggest.
Just took a while to unclip the airbag :-D

Give them a call or email, thats all i did and 3 days later i had my new wheel. My old one is on its way back to him now, so if you want any work done then at least you know he has one the same.

Have to say I am a bit underwhelmed by that pic too (although the 'official' one looks better). However, what's important is that the owner who bought it is happy! Generally feedback on forums for Royal seem to be really good so it's probably just the light in the photo!

I actually find my M Sport steering wheel too thick - I prefer my old 350Z wheel which had more feel to it and was quite a lot thinner. Having said that I would quite like to get the rim done in alcantara

Thanks for posting and keeping us updated!
