Rallye BMW Release Jerry's car on Saturday June 21, 2008
Hey e90post members. We're just trying to help coldasicex5 (Jerry) get his car by this Saturday June 21, 2008. But it seems that Rallye BMW is giving him the run around.
If you know of anybody that works at Rallye that can assist, please chime in. Thanks! Rallye BMW, please release Jerry's car to him on Saturday June 21, 2008. You guys are going to get a bad rep, if you keep stalling for no reason.

Lets hope Alan Milim (sales manager) can pull some strings to make this happen. Charles Brostoff (Jerry's CA) needs to push the process along.
Come on fellas! Don't you want to be represented on 6/22?

I wish I had connects...I helped a few E90 members get their cars delivered early when I was at Hassel. It was nice to be friends with the prep guys, just had to tell em your friend bought a car, blah blah blah number this, and they would go find it and prep it before any other car on the list.

Let me say this again, Rallye BMW sucks!!!
If you have to buy a Bimmer in L.I., go to Park Ave. BMW and PM AutoCouture (Sal). If you have to buy a Bimmer in NJ, go to Park Ave. BMW and PM AutoCouture (Sal). If you're anywhere local to NJ.....PM AutoCouture (Sal). Who ever heard of the car being released today in NJ and not being able to make it to Long Island for 48hrs.???

as of this minute, the car has not been delivered to the dealership yet. I dont see why you are blaming the salesperson or the dealership for a car that is NOT in their possesion. FYI, once the car is delivered to the dealership, they have to wait for a Certificate of Origin or title to the car which normally takes 48 hours with FEDEX - before they can deliver the car to the client. --- with that being said, some dealerships are willing to take the risk of delivering the car without a title...

Another thing is that his CA would never tell him the status of where his car was. Whether it was at the VPC or anywhere else. My CA took the time to explain where my car was each step of the way. I never worried once and knew exactly when to expect the car. Where as his CA doesn't do shit! Jack didley squat. One of the members had to actually contact his manager, just for them to release this information. C'mon, the guy is buying a car from the dealer, why are they giving him such a hard time? I know when I went to my dealership everything was smooth. And so were most of the member's experience on this forum. This is just my opinion of Rallye BMW and I have heard the same from a lot of the members too, that this dealership sucks! Until they have better service and more people vouche for them, my opinion of them will stay the same. Hey, if they treated him the way they should have from the beginning, this thread wouldn't exist.

I am having trouble understanding where the confusion is. If the car is not at the delaership yet, how is anyone holding out. It seems some of the members here, are having a harder time understanding this than the actual owner of the car. When the car is at the dealership it can than be delivered, not before. The car's ETA is 6/23/08. ESTIMATED is the key to this whole thing. Yes, it would be great if he had the new coupe for the meet on Sunday, but it is not possible. To beat up the CA or the dealership is a little stupid. Bimmer335i07 you are using your one experience as the basis for your rant, when unfortunately it is not the norm for a car to arrive the same day it is released friom the carrier. That is the bottom line.

This really has nothing to do with arrival of the car, but the CA from Rallye has slacked from day 1. Jerry knew this since before he left his deposit and did so anyway. When it comes down to it, its his own fault for putting himself in this situation. Sorry, but its true. |

As far as I know, Jerry's CA had provided him with the car's Prod. number. If he has so many friends on this site, he should have an exact idea of where the car is, and when it is scheduled to be delivered. I am not trying to blame anyone but, if all I did was call my clients everyday to let them know where their car was, I would have no time to do anything else. That is why clients are given the ability to track the car on their own. It is not the CA's fault, no matter how you put it. If Jerry thought his CA was so bad, I doubt he would have ordered the car from him. Like everyone always says, you can buy the same car from any number of dealerships, it's the clients choice.
