No, there is no catted version planned. What you see is what you get.

Just a little bump for those who haven't seen the quality welds on the BMS N55 DP.

Few questions.

1. How would you characterize the sound difference from stock DP to this one? How much louder?
2. How difficult is the install? Is there a DIY guide anywhere?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm planning this mod for my N55 335i but I'm concerned about the check engine light and also some complains on how it causes the car to stall....anyone can advise me on these concerns please? Will it definitely throw a check light and causes car to stall?

The N55 JB4 takes care of the light for you. There is also an idle adjustment for those cars that need it.

Hi,

Thanks but is there another option then a JB4? I'm already on another tuning box from Germany.

Thanks.

Details on the idle adjustment? Can the end user change the set idle speed with the JB4? That would be very useful for LTFW users... could bump idle up to get rid of gear rattle...

Is there no easy DP fix without using JB4? Any aftermarket O2 Spacers?

You are not able to set idle speed. Only change the air/fuel ratio slightly at idle, which is often needed with N55 downpipes.

OP, the only other option is the BMS CAN Tool.
