Jason's tattoo sleeve thread
Wanted a sleeve for years and finally took the plunge
Originally started off wanting a maori sleeve but changed my mind half way through! Still got 2 sittings to go. Thought id post some progress 1 sitting 2nd sitting Then totally changed my mind and went with a mandala piece and dotwork 4th sitting more mandala and pattern work 5th sitting just done today So far im 15 hours in. Only another 6 or so to go! Coming together i think |

Nice work.
I have a religious black and grey sleeve done with soft shading techniques. I don't know about you but the elbow being done was by far the worst pain, worse than the inside of the bicep and up into the armpit. Looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Too much of a mosh-mash of styles for me but that doesn't what I think really, as long as you're happy
It's great quality though.

That looks great. It is a mix of styles but does seem to work together.
Would love a sleeve and been looking at designs for a few years now. Keep updating this, wanna see the finished article |

So far had 7 sittings at 3 hours a go. So that's 21 hours, at £70 and hour thats £1470 so far. Still got 3 hours on the lower arm to go. And I'm also going to get more detail in the top half to blend it in a bit better so probably another 6 on that |

I couldn't think of anything worse to do to myself - a bit like your view of the gym ;-)
Fair play to you tho pal !!

Yeah you've got yourself a decent artist there mate. Good clear strong lines.
I considered a sleeve years back (a 3/4 one it was going to be) I spent years thinking/researching/planning what I'd like but never bothered in the end because they became so popular. I have a big rib piece done though which I love and it's nicely hidden away. (Japanese/Koi style) Last edited by Juz5i; 10-27-2015 at 04:36 PM.. |

Im happy with the bottom half.
I made an arse of the style at the top but i've got a day booked on the top section to help it blend in a bit better. More pattern work and maybe white ink over the black bits And theres bits and bobs on the bottom section that needs finished (wrist and other sections) Certainly a long process |
