How does the z4 compare?

Hey guys, I am currently in the market for a z4 3.0i. I love the car but I want hear from you guys how it compares to other cars in the similar price range. The factors most important are performance, handling, running costs, and overall enjoyment and pleasure of driving the car. The practicality of the car is not an important factor. I am saying the average price is 15k so somewhere in that price range.
