I might wait for a bit until the n55 tunes are sorted out and tested just a little more. I am coming from an Acura tl s-type, so I'm sure the fun factor should already double. I could wait a few months for a tune.... maybe.....
Haha, same comp. i did with my wife... and now xmass is almost here. I get to go pick my car up tom. night! I am already trolling the aftermarket to find a good tune LOL!

Hey Shiv,

I just saw some info on the the upcoming G4 and noticed they will have map switching and other features via the steering wheel controls. I thought that looked like a good idea except you can't use this feature with the radio on....It would be great to be able to have user controlled map button capability for the Procede so you assign whatever button you want for map switching etc....Just my 2 cents...

Shiv, did you mean the n55 runs 2-3 degrees less ignition advance than the n54?

Go easy on him. This thread was intended to be N55 specific and being that all of the V5 info is all over the place, it's somewhat difficult to get all the info you need in one place. In fact, I'm still trying to figure out whether V5 is released for the N55 yet.

Yeah, I finally concluded that after combing through all the Procede v5 threads. What confuses me the most is the fact that the downloads page for the N55 on the Vishnu site has the v5 user software, but no maps - not even the v4 maps. You'd think the firmware would take the most effort to complete with a simple port for the maps. I guess that's not the case.

I just got my V4 for my N55 a few days ago and was looking at the Vishnu site for the latest maps/firmware but did not see anything either for V4 N55. I'm having some sputtering issues under hard acceleration and wanted to make sure I had the latest firmware.

You'd think the firmware and maps would be downloadable if it has been released...

I want it now, I am so hesitant to change maps because autotuning will reset, I cant wait for the autotune settings to stick... I also want NA mode for the highway.

I just noticed in the n55 v5.0 user software download theres a Default.pcd file in the directory. a pcd file is a map file. I wonder if that's the n55 v5 maps?

hey guys,
v5 for the n55 hasn't been posted yet. Doesn't mean that a few people aren't running it though. Give me a couple of weeks during the holiday to run it through its paces and it should be posted up by the 1st of Jan.

So when I ordered the N55 Procede after the new website was up and the new enthusiast version was available, does that mean I am going to get v4 and will have to wait to update to v5 until the firmware is posted?

Also, I requested the DCT maps for the N55 135i...does this mean I'm getting v4 DCT maps and there will be new v5 DCT maps?

Obviously, I am a little confused with the v4 and v5 and how it relates to the N55 Procede (DCT maps specifically).
