Will the Type 162 front wheel fit on the rear of an e90 or vice versa? I want to start carrying a spare and I don't want to spend $300 for the kits that are available when I have a my stock wheels w/ winter tires sitting in the attic. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the front will fit the on rear.
No need to bring the wider rear as a spare.

Looks like they're available in 17x8 and 17x8.5.

They are called Star Spoke 286.

Ive got the type 156 wheels on my wagon, im planning on throwing some winter tires on them and then looking into getting some new wheels for the summer. How will the AWD system affect which wheels will work or not?

If you stick to OEM tire size, you'll be fine.

Thanks to provide Good and full informations of All E90 OEM Wheels.
I like your way in which you display Sample images of all wheels.

Hi everyone I am new to the site, what I wanted to know is which rim would work best on a e90. Basically I want the back rim to be flush with the car, similar to the front. Is there a OEM that rim that offer this offset?

Look around on what you want..and for it to be flush with the fender you can get spacers. No wheel is going to be flush with the car unless you get spacers.

Hi All
I cannot make a new thread so I will introduce myself here. I recently purchased my first BMW (2006 BMW 325i) I know it isnt much but it is a start (after leaving the honda/acura life style for over 10 years lol).
Anyway my question is about rims... I hear all this stuff about staggered look etc. I just want to make sure what I buy will fit on my car so if you guys can help me out.

I am not looking for no staggered look just plain wheels that will fit, scooping out ebay and located these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-BMW-330CI...sories&vxp=mtr
I know they are relipcas but I am on a strict wife supervised budget lol
My question is: Will these fit? And can I just get 225/40/18 size tires? I was thinking the Falken 912
Thoughts? and Thanks!

Also will the offset affect anything?

Last edited by atam3; 04-24-2013 at 05:02 PM.. Reason: Forgot to add the offset

So you use 2 sets of fronts as your winter wheels? Am I understanding that correctly?
