i wonder if this is the price of the new index -12 injectors... if you paid ~150$ recently, what index were they?

my index 12s were ~$150 in October when they were replaced, they are also replacing N63 injectors under a campaign, same as ours... figured they'd be getting cheaper not more expensive.

Oh that makes sense. BMW is sucking up all the supply. So wait it out a few months when the recalls are done.

What type of shop does this. Not even quite sure what to google, the only site I found said they don't do direct injectors
I got curious about this, and did a bit of research. I figured they could clean DI injectors like traditional port injectors, but I can't find anything that talks to DI injector cleaning. There should be somebody out there doing it.

flowing them wouldn't do much, there's a piezo stack of crystals in the body that are prone to chip/degrade... I believe that's where our problems come from

Where are you seeing them for $160? I see bavauto is selling some on ebay for $166, but only have 2 available. I would guess they're an older revision too since they charge 250 on bavauto.com

You just answered your own question. I'm looking now and I see them for low as $129 and $148.

I couldn't find a new set of 6 on ebay for that price, but Rockauto and autohausaz still have them for pretty decent prices

Don't waste your time much of the time it's the electrics that are shot.

the real question is will 12's hold up. BMW is pretty much using these exclusively again.
