Another Valuation - 335i Msport Coupe DCT
Any ideas guys?
White 335i Msport, coupe, DCT, highline: August 2009 with 15k miles with the following extras: DCT box, red heated leather seats, pro nav, voice control, usb, phone prep, bluetooth, shadowline. It also has the remainder of 5 years free serving pack. It's in good condition with none of the 225M alloys being kerbed and just has a few stone chips. Cheers Jim |

Phil haven't you got one already according to your profile? I don't know if it's an N54 or N55, how can I tell?
Sorry these are the only pictures I have from my iphone. |

Wow, That is a red interior. Not for me but you should get a good price maybe even over the odds for it to the right buyer. It is probably quite rare in that spec and colour combo?

Yeh the DCT is awesome and I don't think I'll go back to a manual now. I'll have a look at the V5 and let you know. I think it's probably a N54 as I can't recall seeing twin scoll written on the engine cover. I presume the N55's are worth more as it's the newer engine.

Trade price would put your car around 20.5k with all the optional extras, selling it privately you will be looking at around the 22.5/23k mark, if you are looking to part exchange then around 21k.

N55 is a single turbo and therefore not as tuneable.. Plus I would want to transfer the mods I have - DPs, JB4 would not be transferrable to N55. I think £21-23k is a reasonable valuation - way out of my budget though ! |

No reason for a single turbo to be less tuneable. Unless there is something todo with the ECU?!

Is that question aimed at me? If so I don't really know what you mean. The car is as to my knowledge as stated in my descrption. I am more than willing to email people additional photos after it's been detailed at the weekend and the number plate so they can contact BMW for a list of extras, to see what work has been done, to check the serviceing details and ensure it has the free servicing pack.

I have the v5 infront of me and the engine number is just 8 numbers, it does state the co2 is 210 G/KM if that helps.

Single turbo = single downpipe. Jb4 is different between the two also My fmic/dci would go over to an n55 but not the rest.

Maybe, I would think closer to 22k will sell it because you can get a approved used one from the dealer for 23k
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3483794.htm I think if you put it up for 23k with the view of taking 22 to 23k it should sell. I would even be tempted but I am going to move to something different now after owning 4 different 335i over the last 4 years. |

thats pretty much the car i'd be after, however it's the tax that puts me off (pre LCI being 400odd a year?? correct me if im wrong?)
I think i'd go for an LCI for that, the white angel eyes and the apparently more tuneable engine. but white/bluewater/red leather/DCT Surely it's got to be worth more than 20K, i'd guess more at 24. its got 15K miles on it ffs! Ok so warranty can't have long left and it's pre-lci but it's a top spec car!
