Homeland is by far the best.

Mr. Robot hooked me from the first episode... then it just went downhill with each subsequent episode : ( Unfortunate because I was really excited for the series.

I don't know how I feel about that season finale for Homeland but glad to see ol' girl got what she had coming to her. (sorry for the spoiler)

I've been watching Homeland, The Affair, The Leftovers (mad twisted) and now that they're done for the season started Shameless back and waiting for House of Lies.

Making a Murderer... if you haven't watched it you should. Its an easy one to binge and although it boils my blood, it kept me watching.

Jessica Jones is an astonishingly dense, character-driven show with nary a throwaway line of dialogue anywhere. Its narrative is dark though...perhaps not for everyone.

Recently picked up Arrested Development, love it. Can't believe I didn't watch it back in the day. A lot of hidden humour and dark humour. Wonderful for all ages...okay not really...but a good comedic show. Puts me in mind of The Office.

Making a Murder was amazing, makes you feel for the guy as well as question a lot of things such as government, law and the judicial system (as if you didn't already). Says a lot about how gripping it is.

Narcos, plot line based on a true story. Good narration along with good acting. Scenery and sets are nice, puts you in mind of movies like scarface but with a more realistic grip on a man that had a family and to some was a hero (not me) but to locals. He drove the micro economy in a certain way.

Three must watch Drama's for me:

House of Cards - Great depth, fantastic plot lines, wonderful quality acting.
House of Lies - Take Mad Men, modernize it. Good plot, some decent drama. Great tailspin character fails.
Mad Men - Just watch it, everyone who has ever seen it has told you the same thing.

Show's I didn't like recently:

Break Bad - Gave it numerous chances, and by that I mean seasons not episodes. Not a fan. Writing, plot and acting sub par.

Sons of Anarchy - I liked it but the wifey thought was to much of a soap. It just seems like they can't get through a day of life without some sort of issue. Mind you I liked that there was so much BS going on. There was always something twisted but even I started to think...there's no way this would happen. Why don't the writers just introduce a werewolf already.

Yea....I could go on...we binge a lot of shows on Netflix.

We just got caught up on Homeland and Ray Donovan. Love both.

Watched the first 10-12 episodes of The Affair and gave up. I thought it stunk.

Anyone who hasn't watched The Wire needs to put that next on the list.

Lots of great shows, for the OP, based on your list, try Hell on Wheels. Didn't see anyone else mention it.

Love Gold Rush. Lots of respect for Parker, young kid going to make it happen. Plus he owns a Raptor, if I lived in the Klondike I am sure I would drive a Ford Raptor.

Second for Hell on Wheels. Great show. Making a murder is good but the film makers are obviously trying to paint the guy as innocent when it doesn't seem like he is. An interview with his wife aired earlier tonight. She seems to think he did it too. The show also left out a telephone conversation with his nephew where he admitted to his mom that they had done it. Still a good show, just biased.

Totally biased.

Game of Thrones (watched the entire series, twice) definitely my favorite out of all of them.

Breaking bad
Californication
Entourage
House of cards
It's always sunny
Workaholics
Big Bang theory
Revenge

Never understood the whole Walking Dead thing.. Tried getting into it, just wasn't for me.

Things making a murderer glossed over or never mentioned at all:

Possible spoilers ahead:

Avery supposedly raped two women before he went to prison the first time but they wouldn't come forward as he threatened to kill them and their immediate family.

Teresa's phone, PDA and purse contents were found in the fire, tangled up with steel belting from the tires he had burned. They also found several tools they believe he used to dismember her in the fire.

He called her twice using *67 before she arrived at his house, then once more at 4:35 pm not using *67 as an alibi call because he initially planned to say she didn't show up.

He used his sisters phone and a fake name to make the appointment with Teresa, and specifically requested her. It was her 6th or 7th time out there.

The last time she went she told people she would never go back because he came to the door in a towel and acted strange towards her.

They found his dna (from sweat, not blood) on the hood and release of her vehicle as well as under the hood. How can you plant sweat?

While in jail he told other inmates about his desire to build and use a torture box on young women...he even sketched designs of it.

He didn't just toss a cat on the fire, he doused it in gas first.

The bullet matched the gun over his bed, which was locked in evidence from 11/5 on. No way manitowac county could've gotten a bullet in march.

Both his first wife and his fiance say he beat them and threatened to kill them.

He told several people the best way to dispose of a body was to burn it.

Those cops certainly planted some evidence (the key for sure) but I feel like it was just to make sure they got this guy off the streets for good this time.
