CPO Incentives in Feb???
Anyone have hints on the promotions starting Feb 1? Last month saw the end of 0.9% for 48 months, and this month they added the 08's, but only 0.9% for 24 months. I'm going crazy trying to decide whether to wait for after February to see if the incentives are better or worse. I pulled the trigger on an '07 during the good incentives, had buyers remorse and now am considering an '08, but should I wait? well? Will it get better or worse? I want an E93, and the world will be warming up soon, should I strike while its still chilly?
Input solicited, thanx, Joel in SoCal (where its always sunny somehwere) |

Here’s my 2-cents. 2007 was the last boom year before the market/housing/employment crash. Many people felt like they were flush with cash and bought/leased things they really couldn’t afford. One thing is certain, 2007 vehicles will be coming off of lease in great numbers over the next few months and BMW will have to do something to move those cars. Who really knows if BMW’s financing/payment offers will be better than the ones that just expired on 4 Jan 10 though?

I agree, the market should be somewhat flooded with used e9x's. Surprisingly, at least in So Cal, there really aren't that many around yet, at least low mileage, with 6 MT :-)
Dunno why the incentives got WORSE after the holidays, though. Local stealer dude says cuz they want to push the new cars, but the stopped production of the '10's already, and haven't even started pricing the '11's yet. There's gotta be a bigger plan here somewhere, I just haven't figured it out yet. some nice '08's hitting the lot right now though, patience will be rewarded I guess, although it wasn't this month. |

Same in Denver ... Took me almost 3 months to find a 6MT with all the options I wanted ... Stripped down with leatherette and halogens were slightly more common, but nothing fully loaded like what I finally found.

there was an E93 at cherry dodge, did you get that one? Funny how I'm aware of where each 6 MT is located in all parts of the US, and none happen to be within 800 miles of me. . .

Unfortunately most 3-Series BMW’s sold today are equipped with slushboxes, xDrive, iDrive, and/or no Sport packages. Based on my recent buying experience, I’d guess that over 95% of the BMW’s in the northeast have at least two of the above faults. Apparently there are a lot more posers than enthusiasts driving BMWs these days. That’s what makes it so difficult to find a CPO 3-Series vehicle with RWD, 6MT, and ZSP.

It’s a real shame that BMW’s proud motorsport heritage of GT class production cars are rapidly disappearing from American roads…
