Service Questio

Sorry for repetition if this has been asked before, basically my car (08 335i) has 36K miles on it and never had its brakes replaced but I am going out of warranty end of Jan, 2012.

The dealer refused to change the brakes pad or rotor since he claims I have 10k more to go. So basically next summer I gotta pay 1500 out of pocket for them. Is there something I could besides obvious (drive hard or different dealership)?

Should I just get new pads with polished rotors??

Unless you track your car or seriously beat the sh!t out of it, your brakes are probably fine.

my brakes were replaced at 34k due to wrapped rotors. Unless there is something obviously wrong they wont replace brakes just cuz you want them to.

Try a different dealer and see what they say. Maybe the one you bought it from.
