Map 1 as in a custom map? If not, who the hell races on map 1? You say you were screwed when you found out he had a pulley - you were done when you selected your map.

Yes hes on map 1 which is custom.

You cant run map 7 when its cold out because JB3 follows the same logic as a stock car would, in terms of IAT scaling boost...

In lamens terms, the colder it gets the less boost the Jb3 will run, because thats what the car does stock.

In the cold weather 50 and below, you have to "map up" on the Jb3 to get to the expected boost of hotter weather. I think this is being worked on ,but its one reason people went to custom maps to dial in the IAT issue of losing boost.

Its easy to say just go to a higher map 8 or map 9, but sometimes its also more beneficial to dial in custom map 1 to fight the IAT problems in cold weather where as map 8 and 9 might help but only to a degree. Depends on the situation though.


Eitherway, I dont know of any Cobra that runs a stock pulley anymore

I'd personally throw in some race gas and go to map 8 or map 9 if its cold enough, might be a better race. Although you will probably still lose, to lazy to figure it out LOL.
