xdrive issue again
Ok guys my 07 6mt 335 has this weird symptom that I can't figure out at all. I have oem wheels and brand new tires all around. The issue is when accelerating there is this pulsation every second at a low rpm low load take off. This occurs between 1500 to about 4000 rpm. I don't have a misfire at all. My clutch is brand new also 5k on it. I know xdrive needs a rolling diameter of about 1% between front and rear but I have new tires all around with stock sizes. What could this be I'm stumped

Every second, like constantly or once every second or so?
And the rolling diameter should be under %1, not over. Sounds like that's not your issue though.

Yea my tires are brand new factory sizes. Road forced balanced and all on stock 162 rims. And it happens like every other second in the lower gears on a light throttle input no codes

Where do you feel it coming from? Brakes? Driveline? Wheels? Steering? Seat?

Does this problem persist when you turn off your traction control?

Standard things if you haven't done 'em already. Loosen and hand torque wheels to spec, and again re-TQ with car on the ground. Set cold tire pressures. Just to eliminate simple stuff.
What kind of tires BTW? Some folks seem to be getting RFB's that don't work out so well, not sure everyone running those machines is exactly trained up right. |

have you had your diff fluid looked at? or TC fluid? how do your front cv axles look? and tore boots or grease leaking? Motor mounts? if you have the vibration and shift to neutral does it go away?

Its not a constant vibration feeling. It's a pulsating feeling in the driveline its self. Feels like the xdrive is switching from front to back every second

If it's at very low load it's possible it feels like driveline but my car had the same symptom when I had a bad o2 sensor and was causing some odd issues at very low load. It was very prevalent going uphill at low load. I highly doubt it's the derive as that thing has so many nannies that it should have tossed a code or show dtc light.

I checked all o2s via inpa all performing as they should. Also replaced one of the rear ones got a code. Now I have no codes wats so ever.
The engine feels fine revs and boosts fine. Feels like my drive shaft is shifting or something

Couldn't hurt to change the trans and t-case fluid. Does it matter what gear you're in?

See if it's still there will with DSC completely off, you could also pull the fuse and disable Xdrive to eliminate that afterwards. It could be so many things..
