Might be selling
Sucks but it's true. may have to sell my car. After I get it all done, or just about done. Just for thoughts though, what should I be getting for my car? I know the KBB and NADA #'s, but I have some decent money in wheels and exhaust. and I have a 6spd manual. thoughts on price?

I think most people will say it is pretty typical to not expect any return on your modifications. Hence why people often part their modified cars out before selling them.
You don't have sport package, premium, or anything else? I looked at a couple 2007 335i's in my area recently that sport, premium, cold weather and were stock, for between $26k-$28k asking price, ~35k mileage range.

OP sounds like you could have avoided this in the first place. Don't stretch yourself thin for a car. Not worth it. Now you will just lose money selling.

Best rule of thumb I can offer. RULE #1: NEVER try to buy a car that costs more than your yearly salary. If some unfortunate financial hardship has taken place out of your control, then I am truly sorry. If you were just trying to buy more car than you can afford, then see RULE #1.

Has nothing to do with being over streched. Things changed at work, for the better.
When I bought my BMW: I had a company car I drove around and had my BMW as my personal car. Made perfect sense b/c I need a car for my own usings and such. Now: I took the montly check option from work to drive my personal car around for business, b/c the company car sucked nutz in comfort, and turned the company car in. I bought a 2008 MKZ Lincoln for $18k, CPO, 30k miles Blk on Blk. Great road car for business and around town being it's an Auto. it also has features my BMW does not have; Bluetooth, USB & remote start. Now the wife can drive it if I drink and we get plenty of use out of it. I don't see the point of having two nice cars, even if my work pays for 90% of one. Trying to have kids in the near future and I work a lot. So I only have time to drive my bmw to dinner on the weekends. Now that I can use my business car for personal use also I rarely use the bmw. I see it as a financial waste now. Even though I want to drive it everyday!! but puttin that many miles on a car like that doens't make sense. Nor is the BMW a good road car for work.. no spare, to high end etc.

That is going to cause a DD debate Just because you have the old fart car for work, no reason you couldn't still use the 335 for a few days of your commute. If you just wanna sell it for the 'financial waste', trade it in for a nice Z4 toy to keep for your weekend dinner outings with your wife And get an auto so your wife can share the toy! Your mods will get you no return - nada price is nada price. If the car is clean / low miles / newer tires, you will get a small premium on the price!

Calm down everyone lol. I think the most logical thing I heard so far is to split the two cars for work use or sell the 335i and get a Z4 Auto. I looked at combining both cars and getting "one" car. Can't seem to make it happen with price/mile driven at work/ up keep, etc. Dodge Charger V8 is the closest I got. and the problem there is I only like the new style ones and those are very expensive right now. Not to mention the MPG's on even the V6 stink for work. Fuel comes out of my job budget(s).
I don't think I could let my car go for less than $26. reasonable if I am going to attempt?

I checked autotrader locally, I could price my car as is and be competitive. 26-27k. Might try that, plan B is to DRIVE it and enjoy it. Might have to start picking work days to take it. Or my MKZ will have 120k in 2yrs.
Remember, drive it like you stole it.
