http://wfcrew.blogspot.com/2010/04/n...-vert-pt1.html http://wfcrew.blogspot.com/2010/05/e...-vert-pt2.html Believe or not, the quality of these coilovers are great for its money. I am not saying you should take these on to the track and go ballz out like Schumacher. These are strictly for street/show only. The ride is very comfortable. And to those of you always have negative comments about stuff that are made in Taiwan or China really need to go out more. I recommend you check out the annual AMPA show (usually 2nd week of April) in Taipei, Taiwan.. Its like SEMA for manufacturers. You will be surprised (or in shock) to find out majority of the OE and Aftermarket parts are made in Taiwan. You would be surprised to see how many so-called "Made in japan, USA & Germany" companies are actually getting their stuff from. Last edited by caliban; 05-13-2010 at 02:33 AM.. |

Finally... Someone who's not a complete retard. Megan coil-overs are hugely popular in the JDM community. If they were really that bad, they would be flamed to death by them.

Updates...?
I had Megan's on my Datsun 510 for 2 years and never had a problem with them. Megan's are actually a step from from Form&Functions, Blackworks, Ksports, Tein basic's, etc..I guess the right section for Megan is in the middle. I have FF's on my 89 Si Hatch right now, and they are okay. I had to come back and add, the import scene's cars a bit lighter than B's. And my Datsun was 1900lbs. So........with that in mind, with more weight, I would like to hear some feedback! I'm going to send Megan an email asking what testing they did as well. I would really like to know how the Megan's are on this platform tho, it means I can get a better wheel-set if these are good. Last edited by Cryingsuns; 01-29-2011 at 02:20 PM.. |

Are Megan coilovers stainless steel or chrome-plated? Curious. I had Function/Form coilovers on my 02 Accord, and they were awful! I'm considering coilovers under $1,000, so I am prob going to get Eibach Pro Street S, but if these Megans are decent and corrosion-protected, then I will get them instead, so I can have the adjustable damping.

Honestly I would have to agree with his comment. Why buy a $70k sports car and then throw 700 dollar coilovers on it? Hard for me to believe that Megan racing can make a better product than a team of 100 BMW engineers spending millions of dollars on research and development. Would be interesting to compare lap times to a stock car... Yes the ride will be stiffer but will the car really handle better? I don't know the answer to that....would love to find out though!

Your opinion is meaningless unless you have first hand experience. Keep these comments to yourself otherwise. Also not sure what $70k sports car you think you own lol. You overpaid by $15k and you were swindled into thinking you bought a sports car. |

oh, there are some pics on line with camber adjustments, and some without...
Anyone know if this version comes with the adjustments or if they are required if you plan to set them and leave them..... their site says they do and strut mounts too... if thats the case.... Im in! I wont track the car much, but when I do Id like to lower the ride a bit. I like a stiff set up but a quiet ride for sure. Any new feed back??

Just saw this post so it seems that maybe we are on the same page anyway...I was thinking only in terms of track use. For the street it shouldn't matter much. |

i've been running these for roughly 3 months. there was some minor squeaking at first but it seems to have settled in after 3 weeks. now there are no squeaking, i'm just going to see how they hold up after the last 2 days of rain. see if there are any underlying issues with water. can't be happier for daily driving.
