I was told the expected date for them to receive it was this Friday. Hopefully I have it installed by next week.

Keep us posted. I am eager to see if it is as good as the price says it should be.

If you check the reviews on e46fanatics, everyone seems to like it a lot. Of course the product is never perfect, but better than not having In-Dash navigation at all. Plus, you can get rear view camera installed

looks like I have to wait until Wednesday to get mine, which is Ok, I have a bunch of other upgrades to do this weekend. I also got a 2011 E90 climate control with the built in heated seat controller so I don't have to re-locate the existing one by the ashtray.

Its easy but Im an ex-pro.....so its a little different for me... The install is pretty much the same as the older units, no changes there. The only thing that I think is a little tricky is getting the correct wire in the fuse box for constant power as the E9X cars shut down power to a lot of circuits after awhile....I think I ended up using the circuit for the stereos amplifier.

If you dont know what Im talking about go back and review the old dynavin thread, tons of info there.

Graphics are way better

I like the temperature and gauge displays a lot .
Did you have to hook it up to the OBD port for that?
It still has some overhang at the bottom of the bezel .
I thought they might improve that.
How is the radio reception?

no, that info is just pulled off the ibus through the ibus interface box (used to just be for steering wheel controls).

The front panel is identical to the older units, the HVAC controls dictate how the bottom of the unit is, no way around it. In my opinion its a total non issue, once in the car it looks like its supposed to be that way, but I know not everyone will see it that way....

Radio receptions seems fine but I dont really use the radio so im no expert there....

Can we get a picture of the wires all connected if that is not too much of a problem?

sorry not pulling it out for that...besides it wouldnt look like much, just a bunch of wires....its the same as all the other dynavin units, it just plugs into the factory plug, run the ipod and usb to the glove compartment or wherever, run the GPS antenna and bluetooth mic to their locations, done, nothing special.
