Any discount for returning a low mileage core from a DCT?

How much better is a clutch or wave trac? I'm accustomed to a very aggressive diff. My most recent DD was a 2009 GTR. It would crab and shudder at low speed but was so predictable at the limit. A joy to drive sideways. I'm looking for something that can allow stable and controllable slip angle.

Thanks
Tim

Tim,

$800 can refunded for a DCT core.

The the ultimate in performance and traction you can't beat a clutch type diff(Wavetrac is not, plus there is the DCT application for DCT). We can custom build you a Clutch type complete final drive. The cost will be around $4600

Hi Harold,

What's the difference between the geared Quaife LSD and a custom built clutch style LSD. Does this impact the performance on a 335IS DCT? Thanks again.

Why do you say this? gearing would most likely be too low for auto cars 3.46 down to 2.56. but for 6 speed manuals cruising rpm would drop by about 400ish. Probably get 30mpg at 70 mph. Could also do 80mph in 2nd gear I bet. I wouldn't install in an auto-x car, but I would for road course racer.

Readdressing my question: "gear vs clutch" LSD debate on a DCT application. The one HPA is selling is a gear one.

Yes, this is a Quiafe, which is a gear type LSD. Excellent for street/HPDE/Track Day use, low maintenance and very robust.
