Maintenance Overdue
Hi there,
I have a question I hope someone can help me with. I purchased my E90 new around beginning of 2012. I have put roughly 25,000km on the car (mostly highway driving) since then. Question is, I still have not received the maintenance signal from my car for service maintenance. Since the car is leased, I am not sure if I should take it in before the reminder. Should I bring it in now before the maintenance light? Will the dealer charge me? I appreciate your insight / help. Thanks alot. |

Leased? I wouldn't give a single fuck until lights start blinking like Christmas time.

Read the manual and do a check to see when your next maintenance is due. It will tell you how many km before you're due on your dash display. It's a few pushes of the button on the end of your turn signal lever.
My first maintenance wasn't due for 27k km, but I change oil in between what the car tells you as that's just too long. If it's a lease then you may not care as much, but sucks for the all the people buying used and abused cars off lease. |
