Fog Lights

Has anyone changed their stock fog lights for something else? If so, what did you go with and were you happy with the results?

HID with fogs is a bad idea IMO
Not everyone has auto-dimming mirrors
I chose to get white halogen bulbs instead. Same brightness, but the color matches the Xenon low-beam.

Fog lights are aimed pretty low 5-10 feet radius. Now fogs in the low beam is another story.

have you turned them on and off while driving? you can see the difference in reflection on the road signs. if the road signs are brighter, i'm sure they're also affecting other drivers too.
it's bad enough half of us drive with them at night.

turn the headlight switch to parking lights and then you can turn just the fogs on

I want to put 8k HID's in when my m3 bumper arrives in the mail. Need to find some good H11 type bulbs to put in.

Interesting

I went with HID
But I did like your analysis

I went through 3 colors

6500. 6000 and finally 5k

Higher temps were too blue

So, if I am upgrading my H7's from stock to Osram NightBreakers Plus, what fog light upgrade would be good for these?

I would like to keep Halogen, but I know the Osram NB's are much brighter, so I want them to match still. Thanks!
