My new obession (not BMW related)
Well my friends talked me into getting a scooter. I laughed at first. Scooters are for weenies right? I thought so.
But man, I'm first to admit it. This rocks. So much fun to ride. I have to say I've been having not so much fun riding my street bike these days. My girlfriend doesnt like it either. But this has got to be more fun. All of the fun and none of the draw backs of my GSXR1000. Did I mention it gets 107 MPG? And it's so cool to mod! I've already spent a ton, and just scratched the surface. Got a lot more on the way! Pics: |

Looks far less "metro-homo" than the usual scooter! My dad bought a Kymco People 50. Not a bad looking scooter, but still.
I do like the Yahama Vino's, but this Ruckus thing looks tough and bad-ass!

45, yeah right! Maybe with you skinny types on it. It has a curb weight of 194 lbs., which means I outweigh the thing by over 50 lbs!
49cc + my fat ass = SLOW AS HELL. Still, I'm tempted to carve off some of my BMW mod money and get one of these. I just don't see where I'd use it that often....

Yeah, I'd say that doesn't have 50/50 weight distribution like a BMW.....

I bought a Piaggio BV200, and two weeks later sold my CBR F4i. Scooters are SO EASY, its got to be the most mindless transportation out there. Mine will go 85mph and still gets 65 mpg. Plus there is tons of storage on these things. Everytime I go riding, it reminds me of Thailand!

I don't know if it's everywhere, but I know here you don't have to have a license to drive a scooter, that's why you know the person driving it got a DUI.
