Ok definitely a newbie here with this car.

2006 330i sticker stated that I have Premium sound with DSP I checked the chart http://musicarnw.com/bmw-sound-syste...us-model-year/ and see that I indeed do have that feature even the silver amp on the drivers side rear panel.

My question is that I have the Professional radio, don't have idrive or NAV so where is the EQ located on this radio? I have seperate treble and Bass that's It, I do not see any other features.

Some one please help to clarify.

Its in the menus on the radio... I know it if I had my radio in front of me.

I will check that when I get home, and yes I should have read that and the links that you sent was for cars that are 07 mine is an 06 does that still apply to my car as well ?

As a side note I set my non i-Drive according to this forum over 6 yrs. ago and never looked back. I would say the Logic 7 sounds much above avg. as cars go.

The sound format that I currently have in the car is really good, I checked the sticker that came with the car and it says that I have Premium sound

I have the center speaker, the door tweeters and the woofers located under the front seats.

I have the amp as well located in the rear panel, just seems that the radio that I have is missing some functions there.

check the audio sticky on here . .some good easy upgrades to the Logic 7 are available and the listed EQ settings rock . .and yes you have the EQ setting you just have to use the menu.

The Hi Fi system was called Premium sound in 06
What that actually means is mediocre sound.
No center speaker = Hi Fi 6 channel amp and 10 speakers before
09 . All 330 and the first year of the 335 came with L7 in the US
to my understanding the 325 , 328 could come with either.
