Picking up 2011 335xi Coupe this Friday
I sold my IS350 a few weeks ago because of a ridiculously good deal that saved me $3000 in lease mileage and damage... so i started car shopping 5 months earlier than planned. Was all set on an S4 but couldnt find the configuration I wanted at the price I wanted, and ended up getting a 2011 335xi 6spd Coupe 'executive loaner' with 10K miles on it.... nice thing is that I still got to use new car lease rates on it (with adjusted residuals) and new car offers on it.
ends up being a pretty cheap 3 year / 36K lease... Premium, Navigation, Harman Kardon, Cold Weather, Comfort Access, Sport (regular, not M-sport... i'll trade the suspension for the heated steering i guess), Black on Oyster. Overall Im pretty happy with the deal and the options on the car. I woudlnt have signed if any of those options were missing, they are all important to me. Signed sight unseen but im not too worried about it since its all warrantied. My brother owns a white on red 335i coupe so ive driven them enough. Fly to pick it up friday, then 2 day mini vacation and drive it home sunday. first change will be installing a backup cam, i got spoiled. |

Welcome to e90post!...
Black on oyster is an amazing color combination! Enjoy the car. No need for the backup cam though. We know how to park... the key is looking into the spot before you actually try to park into it! Just pray the mod bug doesn't hit man!!! The backup cam will be the least of your worries.

ha actually I need the cam because my apt building parking garage has a couple of concrete pillars pretty close to where i back out of. ive never hit them, but i like to zip out of the spot in a hurry and the cam is a big help. also helps in other lots where people are walking behind or a car comes from the blind side. $500 is totally worth it to me,

"executive loaner" = "any dirt bag customer will borrow and beat while car is in service"
but since its a lease, no worries. congrats ! ppp

Wow, I guess I was wrong in assuming 6MTs were never given out as loaner. I've never gotten a 6MT loaner (despite requests) -- maybe that's because my car has an AT? Do you 6MT owners usually get 6MT or AT loaners?

Im a AT owner but i got a 135 Mt before and a 328 MT. You can just ask them if they have a MT avaliable. BMW sticks the easiest MT to drive IMO. I learned on my loaner LOL.
