Noob question:

I have e92 2007 328. I know the outer rings are dimmer than in inner rings. I was thinking of getting the lux v3. However, is there a better option such as getting better rings so they are more even and look like the newer BMWs?

I Have a 2008 E90 328i with halogens. I am ordering the LCI halogens from ECS tuning because they eliminate the amber corner and have angel harnesses. Has anyone done this? I will probably have them shipped straight to OSS because I like the idea of having multiple color options for my angel eyes at my disposal. I'm like brand new here so take it easy on me xD

Are there options for the E90 LCI that are not LED but rather a whiter replacement bulb for one with xenons?

instead of all that, why not just get LCI Xenons and not need to send them to OSS?

The LCI Xenon headlights are more expensive than LCI halogens. I believe I would also need to purchase a ballast for the xenon headlights, and the process would require a bit of coding so everything would work properly. The pre LCI halogens and LCI halogens are pretty synonymous with coding, and ECS tuning has a plug n play setup. I would totally get the xenons, but the process could be daunting, and I wouldn't know where to even find the LCI xenon headlights.

All OSS does is retrofit the angels, so I would send either headlight setup I get to them.

My angel eyes bulb just went out on my 06 330i. After reading this informative thread, and a couple others, I decided I'm going to order the Lux V 5.2 seems like the best route for plug and play

Ordered BMS LEDs, they look fantastic... but holy fvck what a miserable task it is to install these on an E92.

Some advice - red wire up, and don't even TRY to force it. If the orientation is perfect, it will slide in very very easily. So just keep wiggling and moving up and down.

Whats the difference between MTEC E92 H8 White Angel Eyes and DTEC H8 E92 M3 E90 M3 V2 20W. E-92lighting sites clarity is difficult to understand. I messaged E-92lighting they replied with no information except that I should just buy the more expensive MTECS. ATM I have OEM amber halogens.

Is there a link to an installation video that anyone has uploaded that I can install my headlights? 2011 335xi. I am still looking into which kind of bulb to buy but it will be a great reference in the future to know how to install it rather than going to a body shop.

just went the GP Thunder route. Pictures taken with iphone4 in a flourescent lit garage completely unedited. Only thrown into photoshop to attach text and make comparison picture. During the day the outer ring isnt as visible as the inner, but that was the case with stock as well. I matched my fogs to these as well. Spent $10 on amazon for these. Thanks for looking!

Another satisfied customer with LUX AE's. However, I went a different direction in color...

Amber ftw! Thank you Marc and the crew @ Lux. Awesome product!
