Niiiiiice. Love the interior. The one thing that bugs me though, is that you went that far and did so much work, but still did not change the non- sport package steering wheel to a sport package, or even an m3 wheel. Seems that would be one of your top priorities, seeing that you are doing an m3 conversion.
Either way good job! It's a lot of work but it looks like it paid off! |

i didn't put spacers on the wheels the rear wheels ar 10.5 and front wheels 9. when my interior was finishd then i just found a original m3 sedan interior. Here you don't find this fast because m3 here are to much money.and most are m3 e92 (coupé) So far as i know there are just three m3 sedan's in belgium maybe i'm wrong... |

Holy hell, would it not have been easier to modify the rear wheel arches rather then replacing the entire fender?
The interior is a bit too red for my taste, but still quite a transformation. Well done.

OP, incredible transformation from a reg 3 to an M3-rep. My only gripe would be the disappointment when some1 pulls up next to you & there isn't an S65 under the hood

Would love more pictures!
First off, let me say; I love the project! I understand what the OP is going for. I'm doing the same conversion on my 325i. I don't have $42,000.00 for an M3 sedan, so I'm going to spend less than 5k on my conversion. How? I already have a good bit of the parts needed, and I have friends who are going to help me change out everything, who have experience. I'm going to show everyone on here that it won't cost $15,000 to do a conversion. It just takes time. I'm in the military, so when I'm home, I don't have anything to do, so what better than to work on my car. I think one of the reasons the OP has chosen to keep the original car, (mind you, is that he had the car for four years), because he's had it since he was 20. I worked long and hard to get a good down payment for my car. I've had it since I was 19, and it's almost paid off. The car is sentimental to me, and after it being my first BMW, I can't get rid of it, so I'm going to make it better, I really enjoy my 32 mpg on the highway, rather than the 9 you get with the M3! Lol. Love the car! Would love to see more mods! |
