What aftermarket muffler to get? Not a whole system

I am looking at getting a different muffler for my car when i remove the resignatior and gut my secondary cat. Im not looking to break the bank with BMW PE or anything like that, just an exhaust that will sound good. i have a 330xi The brands my local shop carries are flomaster magnaflow and borla. Any of these have a model that would sound good in my car? or any others that i should think about?

Do you think it would be possible to make this quad without major work? and would it pass PA state inspection? and the two tips fit in a m3 rep slot? if so how much would it cost to get two more?

A thin straight muffler or resonator. All of the mufflers we tried sounded close to stock.

Depends how picky you are.. When I had a 328 it was straight pipes and I never really noticed any annoyances besides the rear ac vents and rear tray vibrating which was an easy fix.
