Changing brake pads... need help ASAP

I've gotten the wheels off and the two bolts that hold the caliper to the rotor, but the caliper won't come off. What can I do? Does the car have to be in neutral?

They should just slide off but remember the piston does apply pressure, especially if you pumped the brakes. Is this the rear caliper or front that you are trying to remove?

I got it off... wiggled a flathead screwdriver between the pad and caliper.

Hey, Anybody have an almost scratching sound coming from any of the brakes? Ive had this on two occassions and have attributed it to maybe a rock stuck between the rotor. Any thoughts?
