I went last week, its good mid-week not many cars out.

Do you have an aftermarket oil cooler?

I hit limp mode on my 4th lap in 3rd session, about 1pm

I'd be interested to hear how your car goes

no aftermarket cooler and yes it gets hot but i dont push it too hard as there is no M badge on the rear and only M cars can be pushed hard on the track.

When you say you got a limp, do you know what the codes were as most likely they are plug/coil related, not heat.

Well I disagree with your m car post, no reason any car can't be pushed hard if you look after what you are doing. Why would you make an assessment that only M cars can be pushed hard? All cars are just made up of components with strengths and weaknesses and if you account for the weakness then you can enjoy its strengths...

Dan Dan Dan, you must be very new to the BMW world. You will soon learn that ONLY M cars are Track cars and no matter what parts you put on a NON-M car it will never be able to be compared to an M car because the M car has a badge on the back.

Any comment that tries to compare cars with the M badge and those peons who are simply too poor to afford the badge will be viewed by the powers that be as trolling and you will get an automatic infraction.

I used to get a few 'limps' (not in the bedroom tho ) and with a new set of plugs and coils, 90% better. The last 10% were driver error

LOL for starters I'm not new to the BMW world.. nor am I new to track driving.. nor did I claim that the 335 was a substitute for an M car... what I did say is that you can track it and track it hard within its limits..

At no time did I say it would beat an M, do the same job as an M or be anything other than a 335i.

I find it condescending that you have made the above comment, and unfortunately for you, you will probably never 'get' the difference between cars and understand that regardless of the car you can take each individual car to its limit and enjoy doing so...

So have fun babying your car around the track... and don't bother letting me know how you went.. I'm sure it will be boring.
