jmeas photography update

I've been absent from the forums for a bit & for those that haven't heard, i've recently become the photographer for a new car shop opening up here soon in the Northwest. the past two weeks have been a whirlwind, with some amazing customer cars i've had the opportunity to shoot photos and videos for.

From M6's to an Amuse GTR this past weekend. I can't wait to share the photos & videos to come! here's a little 8 second clip i whipped together.

i really appreciate it! man, the feeling of having such a great opportunity is amazing. i have, hopefully, a third venture coming up here real soon.

we are hoping to bridge both a local seattle based clothing line that has boomed since its 2 year start, and the car scene.

its been about 5 months. just going staying up late after work every day learning to edit, waking up on saturdays and sundays around 7am to practice my shooting. i've been blessed with such an awesome opportunity.

Lot's of dedication..I'm hoping to learn how to use my camera to the fullest I have a D3000 it isn't bad. It's a fun hobby I want to get more into it though.

nice gig. For only 5 months of shooting you aren't doing too bad for yourself. I've been into photography now for about 7-8 years and taking it a lot more serious the last 2. I work at a camera shop and deal with a lot of pro's. It's pretty difficult to make it a full time job unless you have the right connections or land something like you did. My friend shot surf photos and videos for years just as a hobby and just recently got picked up by a major surfing sponsor. Now he flies all over the world following a sponsored surfer.
