The v3 has a different power supply that will allow it to be mounted inside the headlight. the v2 is the same brightness and color however.
you can upgrade the power supply to the V3 if you are interested as well

Thanks for chiming in. I just took a look at your for sale thread about the V2 and V3. I'm sitll having a hard time understanding the difference between having the power supply inside the headlight as opposed to outside with all the wires. What are the benefits of having an internal power supply? As long as their is no difference in performance and look, I think it's fine.
