The front end looks terrible. There are too many lines, too busy. The built-in "eyebrows" they added are really out of place, and the way they implemented the LED corner lights looks really bad. It looks like they just shoved a bunch of LED bulbs in there in random order.

I do like the new tail lights though.

Anyone notice the pic of saddle brown on the E91? Sweet.......

Still, I don't think the front looks as aggressive as the current E90 but the rear looks great.

I hate the rear lights, mind you I hate non blacklines too, but absolutely hate those rear lights, like like some cheap lights from 15 years ago.

Does anyone know if the iDrive can be retrofitted? I can't seem to get an answer from this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154314

Not sure why they felt the need to change it. Changing it throws off the e90 model, mid-stream. I think the old looks just as good or better than the new.

It would be like Porsche, redesigning the headlights again, but doing it 2 years after they came out iwth a new model. Makes NO sense.

In a word? Yuck!

I like all aspects of my '07 better--front bumper, mirrors, trunk lid... The LED tails are nice in their function, but not that form. Keep just a little cleaner and simpler for me.

On one hand, the rear tail lights are more "L shaped", which makes puts it in line with typical BMW lights, but it is subtle to the point where the inner decklid lights might be a little incongruous or disjointed. I like the headlights and kidney grille better, but the lower grille opening is a bit busy for me. Overall, I'd be happy with a pre facelifted or facelifted E90. You can't lose either way.

They are not L Shaped. They might have been before Bangle sneezed.

09 E90 Front end < 08 E90
09 E90 Rear > 08E90

Does this confirm they will not have different variants between a Sport vs. Non sport? Also no increase in HP is very surprising. I'm basing this off of changes that were made to the E46 during the LCI.

prefer the current 2008 model to this. Both the front/rear look like a step backwards. Too generic. Not as muscular.

The interior looks moderately better. The new i-Drive knob looks out of place in the E90 IMO. As much as Id kill for the new interface and features, I much prefer the simpleness of the single dial with no buttons surrounding it. The headlight switch is nice, the cupholder trim is whatever. Honestly, I expected a little more.

Where are the sport package pics, with the shadowline?
