Smile Bought a 330i

Kid at Xmas excitement levels! Finally reached a deal on a car, a 330i M Sport saloon, 58 plate (09 Reg), titanium silver, auto. Picking it up Monday and that seems far too far away. Cannot f**king wait!

Splendid!

You are a seriously lucky guy - LCI 330i's are like rocking horse ****!

Fantastic cars.

Pretty good spec I reckon. Xenon lights, Bluetooth, USB audio, heated seats, black leather interior, business loudspeaker system. No nav but I was never concerned about that. Only done about 12,000 miles. Titanium silver. Test drove it onSaturday but thought the numbers would never work out. Just can't wait to get it now. Man, I'll probably do another 12,000 miles in the first few months!

Fantastic cars.
Not an LCI. It was registered Feb 2009, on a 58 plate. So one of the last pre-LCIs. In immaculate condition.

As usual, paid a bit more than I intended but what the hell, it's only money.

268 bhp I think.

BTW, there's an LCI 330i saloon currently listed in the AUC listings, but it's £28k.

Naaaaaaaaah! Always intended to get an auto, partly for convenience, partly just for a change.

Was touch and go, I tell you: on the test drive, some looper cut across me and very nearly smashed into us. Salesman's face was white!

One drove past our pub while I was outside the other day - the engine noise impressed me VERY much indeed! Sounds positively exotic. I imagine they'd put the frighteners on a 335d too?!

I think you need to be quite careful with them - a few reported problems on PH but I cannot for the life of me remember what they are!

Anyway never mind that - ENJOY!!

Doubtful, as the 330d is quicker than the 330i for starters.

Surely not quicker than the 268bhp version?

Heh. Didn't come easy, I can assure you. Been hankering after a 330i for about two years. Made a deal with the wife: lose a stone and you can buy a new car. Lost the weight no problem, then discovered there weren't many 330i's around to buy!
