The Camaro, arguably one of America's finest cars at the moment is hardly American. It was designed and engineered by Holden of Australia, and it is assembled in Canada. Americans basically financed it and thats about it. Americans rarely make nice cars anymore, and I won't buy a domestic car just for the sake of it. Especially when most American cars are hardly 'All-American'. Even with Cadillac's new ATS sport sedan, they purchased a 3 series and dissected it to the copy the engineering. We are no better than the Chinese at times.

Which is why I own the Tundra, just as American as the F-150

That's not really why I bought it, I bought it because I wanted it and it looks sexy.

i think the Ram is the sexiest looking truck on the market.

BUT, i would buy a Tundra in a heartbeat just due to the fact that it's the over-engineered truck version of the Supra HAHA !!!!

Do you get mad if your pizza from Dominos isn't made by an Italian guy?

Seriously though, Have you noticed how some Americans like to buy cars that make it seem like they support America. Like how toyota had an ad campaign saying their trucks had more American parts than a ford. BMW proudly talked about how X models would be made in Spartanburg.

Camaro a fine car ????? You have got to be smoking something.
I agree form outside they look cool ,but that's where it ends.
A huge V8 gas sucking engine making 425hp is not fine eng.
Also, the interior is a design from 30 years ago...

Im not smoking anything. I almost bought one instead of another BMW when making my choices in June. I also considered the 370z which is also a tremendous car for the money. It drives great, has good looks, a decent interior, and all the technology and comfort features i'd want with a BMW. It is also less than $40,000 for an SS, which will now barely buy a 328i with shitty options. As far as the 30 years ago comment, please take a look at a 1983 Camaro and tell me the similarity. Difference between you and I is I can see decent cars in other segments, and the Camaro is a hell of a lot of bang for the buck. Their sales would show you that.
