Hood open warning

Every now and then, and every morning on my way to work at the same exact spot I got this error coming up saying Hood Open, stop the car carefully and close the hood, however the hood is never open. My guess is that the sensor is faulty. Any suggestion guys?

Check the sensor and wiring. As to where the location of these are, I entirely unsure of that.
