I'm thinking the CATTED DP map will only be 5-7 rwhp less than the CATLESS one.
My reasoning: Shiv actually made 395 rwhp and 390+ rwtq on the catless DP map on 91 Octane. But to play it a bit safe, he went with the slightly less aggressive tune that resulted in the nice round 390 rwhp / 390 rwtq. So I'd think the catted DP map would therefore be able to be tuned to get about 383-385 rwhp 380+ rwtq on 91 Octane. Not a bad trade off. |

Maybe the catless DP map will work on the catted DPs without any issues.
Shiv's response to this statement: e90post mods ought to make this a standard emoticon, just like it is on n54tech.com! It comes up over there with :Shiv:

Wow, that's impressive, Shiv! I, too, would appreciate people filling up the Riss GB for sure!
I also want to officially state that I am a supporter of the unlimited torque map. |

Quick question, but would going with catless downpipes and keeping the secondary cats accomplish the same thing as catted downpipes in regards to emmisions and power?

The bad thing is that Riss wants first to sell the catless before they start with the R&D for the catted. So please fill up the GB so I can order the catted version asap...

390/390 whp/wtq = 446.7hp/446.7tq at the motor, pretty exciting pump gas #'s on stock intercooler!

What would have to be relocated other than the o2 sensor? If I run a bunge extension (this should eliminate cels) and run the stock secondary cats or high flow cats in the rear, it would be a pretty simple swap in and out.

Shiv, it looks like during today's tuning session you were able to make some significant gains above 4k rpms (beyond the gains you saw from the downpipes alone). Was that improvement only possibly with the downpipes or do you think that we will be seeing some of these gains in the next map release thanks to what you learned today (for users with just just procede or just procede + intake but no downpipes and exhaust)?
Thanks.
