H&R Sport Springs - Ride Height on 16's vs. 19's

Apologies in advance for the dirty car.. (please dont call the dirty-car police!)

I just got some used H&R sport springs installed on stock wheels yesterday and although the drop is a little lower than expected Ive come to really like the ride height. I have some 19's that I will be putting on this weekend and was wondering if they will raise the car back up by a lot compared to my stock 16's. Any experience with this?

Current tire size: 205/55/16. Will be going to 235/35/19 & 265/30/19.

Here are before/after pics:

I doubt it. I have 18s on and they didnt raise my car one bit compared to stock. The H&R sports springs drop is quite moderate.

Lost some of what? The ride is a lot tigher compared to stock and with staggered wheels I can pretty much turn on a dime now.

You shouldn't a lot of people are running this setup. Personally I'd get the H&R cup kit (spring/shock n strut combo) as opposed to just springs alone. These springs will wear our your stock shocks and struts pretty quickly.

Where would I get the H&R cup kit? Also I would really like somewhat of a ride, would that cup kit do the same as HR Springs? Sorry about the questions, I'm really new at this..

You would want the Touring cup kit. That's the one with sports springs.

HAHA yup Al Queda style but if you read, the questions you asked have been pretty much answered. Also if these guys opened another thread about the same issue as yours, someone would have came in here and told them to

so just deal with this for now

I was a little worried about the ride comfort as well at first. If your roads arent that bumpy you should be fine, its when you hit the big bumps that you notice how bouncey the car is now. Keep in mind that I didnt touch my stock shocks though when I upgraded the springs.

As far as performance is concerned though, definitely can feel a change in cornering ability with the lowered stance. There isnt as much float or sway anymore however Im sure adding upgraded shocks would enhance that even more.

Here is my car. I have 1.7 drop in the front, with 1.5 drop in the rear, w/19in VMR.

With the H&R sport springs on 19's your car should look pretty sweet.
