2011 E90 M3 changes?

Noted video of changes to coupe and convertable for 2011. No mention made of the Sedan. Are there LCI changes for the M3 sedan for 2011 coming out this Spring? If so, any pictures, pricing for the new model. Want to place order, possibly for European delivery, and was leaning toward sedan for practicality, but prefer the style of the coupe. Was hoping for some improvement in appearance of M3 sedan--especially the back end. Anxious to place order to get as soon as possible in Spring. Any updates would be appreciated.

Of course the new refresh is not better than the pre LCI, cuz who would admit it?

Its no reason to run out and get a new BMW.

THis reminds me of when they "Refreshed" the 5 series in 08'. They made the front end less angry looking and sofened the interior a bit with less cutting edge door handle design.

I Knew the refresh was coming and never saw the changes but I got to order one of the last 530i's and saved a ton of money by doing so.

SUre the lights are brighter, the tails are crisper and a chrome ring here or there but in the end these are all the same cars and changes does not diminish your ride.

335's are sure going to be worthless as used cars until they fix this problem. But I have confidence they will and some good deals can be had for those with some balls. Dumping the car now would be stupid.

Lulz @ pic of vert with top down in winter

Love the larger grills, I expect temps to drop a bit from that.

Love the larger single - can't wait to see if top end tuned power goes up over the n54.

Front-end looks, tamer, less grassive, more civilized, heck yes girly. Almost like the old Lexus GS, what the heck.
The rear end is OK, fresh LED light.

Only if comparison pictures of pre LCI was bling shots like LCI ones instead of those granny ass old pictures, hands down pre LCI would look better.

Would you buy a new one if it looked "better" and had a twin Turbo with 350 horses?

Why do you think that twin turbo is better? Is it because it sounds "cooler" if you say that then I totally agree with you it does sound cooler. But if you have some facts on why twin turbo is better then you should share it. Have you ever wondered why rally cars uses single turbo? Those cars have been using it for years! BMW only started putting turbo recently. They prolly realized that its better. I'm sure their engineers know what they are doing.

I think ppl are just trying to make themselves happy. Most ppl will try to nitpick for flaws just to make them happy

The question should be do you like the new version? Yes or No plain and simple.

Reasonable answers...
no I do not like it I am happy with my version
yes, I like it but nothing I can do with my current version

Unreasonable
yes I like it, I am going to the dealer and trade/sell my old version and get the new one... Seriously its not like getting a E46 to E92, its still a E92 to E92.

The pre-LCI and LCI E92 M-Sport bumpers are definitely different. Notice the placement of the headlight washers. And the LCI faux intakes have an extra kink along the bottom edges that the pre-LCI intakes don't. Generally, some of the major lines on the pre-LCI bumper are parallel to each other, whereas the LCI bumper has more interesting angles about it.
What is weird is the post you reference, both cars are LCI, the LCI E93 and LCI E92 have different bumpers, the E93 looks like before except has LCI LED headlights, the E92 is much different - thought it was a mess up, but checked out bmwblog and that is the picture from their post - E92 and E93 M-sports are different and E93 looks like only different lights - screw up or will the LCI E93 just be lights? http://www.bmwblog.com/2010/01/19/ph...ge/#more-26990

All I want are the new Angel's. I wonder if they "Audi" bright LED's. That would be awesome.

Actually the LCI doesn't look that bad in the video but like I said before, I'll wait until I actually see it in person.

Don't mean to sound nit-picky, and a bit off topic, but rally cars run single turbo's because they are mostly 4-bangers (Ford Focus, Mitsu Evo, Subi STI, all 4-bangers) and can't efficiently support twin turbo. Both twin turbo and single turbo have their merits and flaws depending on application and engineering. Also BMW is supposed to be officially announcing their 335is soon (to follow in the steps of the Z4 35is) which is supposed to keep the N54 (twin turbo), come with the M-Sport kit (better looking) and rumored to have between 330 and 345 HP.
I do agree with you though, most people are just picking out the perceived flaws of the new style. Happens every time someone comes out with a new body style. I'm sure we'll all be picking on the looks of the 2012 when it gets unveiled. I do really like the new tail's, and the subtle tweeks to the M-Sport. Can't wait for more and better pics of it!

^^^ No mention of the "335is" on the BMW website... All info and pics are just the facelifted e92 and e93 cars, no "is" there.

I like it even better after seeing the video. I LOVE the new lower grill area on the front end and the spoiler is so good no aero lip is needed at all, the mirrors are fine, but I'm still not sure about the headlights (mainly the dip at the outside edges on the bottom) and I'm not sure about the tail lights yet.

seems like they are adopting the international program. xenons were always non-adaptive unless you add it as an option. just another way for bmw to milk you for all your $$$

btw, i heard 2012 there'll be a hood and door package (HDP). otherwise it'll be a thin nylon film to cover your engine and interior

HDP must be added prior to adding windows package (WPK)

Maybe they mean they are standard on all the 3 series, not just the 35i
