Avoid amazon ones,
Although only 1 bulb causes the error, other one when left in with original throws no error. The amazon guy asked for error one to be returned so can test and replace |

I also ordered the amazon ones only to find errors... have returned them for a refund!
Was looking on ebay again, these look good - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CANBUS-SOL...-/300654985352 Any tried these or similar? Looking for ones with 3 SMD's... anything more than this will be too bright I think... Cheers |

Any other recommendations for just the bulbs themselves... not too bright and NO ERRORS!?!?!? Might give the 3 SMD ones a go... only £7.49 and claim they are error free!!! Cheers |

I've got a 56' reg SE 335D and also want to change from factory ones to something slightly brighter. I'm after a crisp white xenon-ish type of look but nothing overly bright. Also do you guys know if I need to replace just the bulb or the whole Unit? At work atm so can't check.
I'd be grateful if you could recommend some options for what I'm after (most importantly ones that don't throw any error codes). |

I put the 3 SMS led bulb into my numberplate lights, every time I went out in the car and arrived where I was going or stopped somewhere it always looked like the bulbs had blown, but then had spun round and were facing the other way(facing up in the bootlid), has this happened to anyone else? And would you recommend how to fix it

I totally understand if you have halogen and are wishing to upgrade to newer OEM look, but just don't get it if you already have them Or is this in anticipation for the next mod, the undercar lights IMO these are as bad (and tacky) as > 8000k HIDs . But I suppose if it's your car and you like it thats the main thing |

BUMP!!
Also want to change from factory yellow-ish ones to something slightly brighter - OEM look. I tired taking off the housing bit today but ended up snapping a chunk off the black housing / plastic part :-( 3 days in and Ive broken something!! Can anyone recommend an OEM look light wihtout error codes and briefly explain how to actually pluck these bad boys out?? |

Can u attach a link to the ones you bought? Is it just bulbs / leds or does it also come with the black outer housing thing?

Bought some of these from SSDD over the weekend - whole module replacement and bright, but again nothing stupidly bright. 2 min job.
http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/show_...hp?prod_id=570 Can confirm no errors on OBC. |

Replaced mine........ http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...4&postcount=15 £7.88
No issues... To remove I applied slight pressure and push to the left/right and flicked out dependant on what side. e.g. right hand bulb holder pushed to the right and flicked out. Last edited by Dizzle; 09-26-2012 at 09:05 AM.. |

I got the SSDD ones, full replacement unit for £29 and they're spot on.
Better than replacement LED lamps. |

Just go eBay pick them up for under a fiver, probably get them cheaper if you look about. Mine are similar to these. I've had them in ages now can't remember exact ones.

I would like to upgrade mine to LED ones, but i want them to look almost identical to OEM. Anyone know any good ones that aren't like £40 or something silly? |
