LED Number plate lights

Hi

Just wondering if anyone else has swapped there number plate lights for a led module?

Im looking at these two:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E90-E9...item4163edbfb1

Can't open the links on my phone but all I'd say that if these aren't a direct fit they're not worth it. You can get LED effect bulbs that are a direct fit and look really good!

I would say they will be too bright. I bought an d am running a set I got from eBay with only 2 or 3 LEDs on them and are spot on. At work at the minute so will see if I can find where I got mine and post it up.

Are you after bright one, or just ordinary white ones?

If you want the brightest money can buy- get them from E92-Lighting.com. I bought the M-Tec Cree License plate lights and they are bright as hell!! The attached pic is M-Tec(left) and OEM(right)-huge difference.

I am sure they will be 'just' fine.
If you are after bright one, best bet is Mtec (japanese) and they cost about £40.
Used them and results are excellent.

Saw them but £40 was pushing it. Even £20 is alot just for number plate lights

As above

If you guys are after something very cheap and very bright
Go for these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-39mm-6...item35b9f01aa2

Thats what i have used in my dads E60.
They look very nice and white

However i don't think these type of bulbs work if you have the factory led number plate. Someone correct me if im wrong though as i would have just saved myself a few quid

Did you have factory led bulbs or a halogen type bulb?

I had halogen festoon type bulbs, and the Amazon replacements worked prefectly.

If you have OE xenon numberplate lights anyway, why would you change them?
