FEELER : DTMKarbon C/F Hood!
Hey everyone, just wanted to see and hear what everyone is thinking about for carbon fiber hoods. We will be making an OEM c/f hood and possibly a vented hood, boser hood, or m3 style hood. I would like to poll this and see what most people would like to see besides a OEM style hood. Here are some examples on the e46. -M3 style -GTR Vented style NO PIC AVAILABLE -Boser -M3 style boser The OEM hood should be ready in about 2-3 months. We will start taking pre-orders as well. Anyone that puts down a deposit will get the hood for a special discounted price of $400 and that price wont ever be offered once the hood is released. The OEM hood will retail for $700. We will take $100 deposits. The hoods can be made in a few different colors and kevlar. DTMKarbon was the first company to start making boser style hoods in carbonfiber in the US. Our hoods are in show cars all over the world. Almost every month there is a show car in a magazine with our hood. The last 2 months we have had feature cars in eurotuner magazine with our hoods on featured cars. :rocks: -colors We will also begin making other carbon fiber products as well.. so please post on anything you would be interested in seeing us make for the e90. For more info call me or PM and check out www.dtmkarbon.com Thanks Last edited by dtmryan; 04-12-2006 at 06:33 PM.. |

The M3 Style Boser is cool. I'm not sure how the vented design would work with the e90 hood design. The sculpted hood lines are so close to the edge when compared with the e46 design.

everyone picks M3 style.... posers!
bet you'd put M3 badges on next.... i like the vented style.. i think it just adds an aggressive look to the car. besides, in phx, the extra venting might help keep the engine cooler.
