So I saw a Ford GT today...

Amazing car but when I looked inside the steering wheel looked puny! My 325i seems to have a huge wheel compared to it... Is there any logical reason for a small wheel?

Not sure about that. I can say that a relative had one a bit ago (not anymore) pushing 800 bhp and that car was an absolute MONSTER. Beautiful on the outside (interior was typical ford). But the power and sound were unreal!

I think it's so the driver can get in and out.

Many sports cars have comparatively small wheels. The wheel on my Exige was smaller than a dinner plate.

Faster steering with a smaller wheel though if it's unpowered it will take more muscle.

What?

You mean all Ford's are modeled after a vintage 24 Hours of LeMans race car?

It would be awesome.

But I'm kind of afraid of how people on E90Post would view me since I wouldn't have any leather, just a stick, clutch, and some gauges.

It's been a while since I was in the car, and I just remember it not looking anything like the Ferraris or lamborghinis interiors (or any of the other super cars) . I don't know much about Fords (especially the older ones), but to me, the interior wasn't anything special. I wasn't really paying attention though, because of how fast we were going...

people on this forum need to get over the interior excuses. Its like an epidemic here. There is more to a car then some soft touch plastics and leather.

Agreed. But some people like cars for different reasons. If I just wanted power and fun, I would have gotten a mustang or camaro zl1. I picked the 335is because it delivered power and fun (albeit less than a performance muscle car) but also delivered finese and technology.

Just another 3 series fanboi demonstrating that he clearly knows fuck all about cars.

The GT is a true classic in every sense of the word.

This forum is so sad, in so many ways.

I know it's a classic and I respect the hell out of it. As I said, a relative had one (as a track car/fun car) and I loved the car. If I had 300k to spend on a 3rd or 4th car I would do it in a minute. I really don't care if you judge me, or anyone else here, but this is an internet forum and you really don't know the first thing about me... Except for the car I drive. I was probably 15 when I was driven around in it, and I remember that I just wasn't a fan of the interior (or just didn't pay attention to it because of how much fun I was having being driven around).

I've seen a couple with twin turbo kits, they sound AWESOME!!
They are pretty amazing looks/ performance; like others have said the interior is rather spartan.

Gt is one of the best(looking) supercars of the last decade, only a CGT I'd prefer over it, but Enzo vs GT? GT.
And I'm a Ferrarista.

Ford GT40 MK1 @ Le Mans 1969. The Grandfather of the GT.
