Essentially a former employee stole money, but insurance only covered a very small percentage. He was forced to fire his employees and shut down.

Basically embezzled so much cash that HPF couldnt recover.....I still dont know how they didnt realize it sooner though. I dont have too much info, but im reading about it on another source.

Something to the tune of $200k was stolen, and the insurance company only payed out $25k, which forced the doors to be shut. I want to give a huge handshake out to Chris though. We will surely miss him and his efforts, as well as his whole team

This is huge loss to BMW community. I understand their high price tags and all but it was quite amazing to see their built E46 M3...never gets old. Hopefully God has planned something better for HPF & Chris himself.

thats exactly what i heard... yeah ive done a little more research and it seems to be true. HPF is no more

Man this is such a shame. Cant stand greedy people ruining it for guys that work really hard in any field not just automotive.

Pretty hard to believe someone just stole $200k and it went unnoticed though.
