e90 = sedan
e92 = coupe
e93 = convertible

I hope you didn't buy that from BMW of Austin. They don't deal well for sales, but the service is outstanding.

Welcome!

E90 = 3 Series Sedan
E92 = 3 Series Coupe
E93 = 3 Series Cabriolet

There's also an E91 = 3 Series Wagon

If you hear the term 'LCI' they would be talking about the recent changes the E90 went through for example they change the rear lights. (LCI = Life Cycle Improvement)

For performance parts you can contact BMW directly if you want OEM or if you let this thread get a few posts I'm sure people will write up what they can offer you.

Nice car choice! I have the 325xi myself (you need the AWD over here in Calgary)

What colour is it? Specs?

Yup your 330i is an E90.. Not that I want to make things confusing but you may wanna research older models to like the E46 and E30 (these are just old 3 series)

Nice colour combo, just need to de-chromo the front grille and window trims!

The US-spec E90 325i had a detuned version of the engine in your car. Still a 3.0L straight 6 cylinder engine, but it produced 215/185 horsepower/torque. Yours makes 255/220. The 330i was the top-spec 3 series in 2006.

Your car has run-flat tires (RFTs) so there's no need for a spare. You can go up to 60 miles on 0 tire pressure.

The computer won't tell you the oil is bad. It will tell you when it needs to be changed based on time and mileage.

If there is BMW Spec oil in there, there is no need to check it. Just change it when the computer tells you to, or sooner if you'd like.

as for performance parts, you can either go with bmw's own performance line parts (http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...e/default.aspx), or you can get aftermarket parts, in which case, browsing through this forum will give you plenty of options and ideas as to what kind and brand

congrats on the new car

+1, at least annually.

If you want to check the oil level it's available in iDrive, and I think you can do it with the multi-function stalk if you don't have iDrive but not sure how.

It's in the OBD with the stalk.
