As we talked about yesterday you need to mod the software in the ProNav with the GPS World POI's.

If Viv wants to share his Unix programming with the the world then I am prepared to say that 'he is the man!!!"

I have not tried any of the new road angel products but can recommend the Origin stuff. I have had a B2 and just upgraded to a Pogoalert both are very good, from what other have said they are better than Road Angel

Carlos I took my Origin B2 out of my Z before selling it.

make me an offer and it's yours - you could collect on the 22nd meet and I'll even help you wire it in somewhere.

Fully plumbed in, i.e. all wiring etc. Has the laser detector and the optional radar input, though haven't actually got the radar detector as that bit's illegal.

Only issue with it is that for some reason the beeper doesn't work, but I had it on Mute anyway as before it stopped working it was a scary PAIN in the arse when it went off.

let me know...

It's quite easy to modify your Nav disc, once you've 'modded' it the first time.

One particular member, who shall be nameless, did try out a 'modded' disc I 'provided' him, when he went over to the Ring recently.

He had no problem seeing Speedcams en route, between London & Germany!

I forgot to start a thread about some of the 'mods' you can do with the Nav disc- not just Speedcams, but things like MaccyDs etc & putting your own POIs on the disc using Google maps.

I'll try to do it soon!

All the best.
