Cracked front wing
Today reversed off a drive and front passenger wheel went down the kerb onto a drain which was slightly lower than road.
Front valance pushed up I guess by kerb and now have a square centimetre of wing missing with a crack about 1.5" long, right on wheel arch curve. So annoying!!! Can this be plastic welded/repaired and sprayed. Any tips, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

I had a similar incident although slightly worse, caught the underneath of the bumper on a curb, tried to reverse off, and ouch....cracked wing, wrecked engine tray connection to bumper, etc.
Anyway, I was able to have the wing plastic welded and resprayed and it was good as new. Cost me €250 for the wing if I recall correctly.

The wings should be easy to repair being plastic, if you don't trust any local bodyshops to do it there are lots of e9x breakers online and on eBay, I'm sure you could get a wing from one quite cheap.
