Paul's DIY E92 Samsung Galaxy Tablet Mounting Kit.
Happy to say, I'm here posting my first useful DIY instructions to mount a 7" inch Samsung Tablet! I hope you folks find it useful...It's the perfect size for our cars...Sorry iPad, you're too bulky for this application...haha.
Note: the 3M strips are very clean looking in real life and the application also looks a lot better than in my pictures with augmented smudges. What you need to have [] Samsung Galaxy Tablet (7") [] Pair of scissors [] Set of COMMAND 3M Picture Hanging Strips (available at your local Target) Step by step (follow pictures as guide...) 1) Get in your car with all the materials. 2) Tear off two COMMAND Strips and cut them each equally in half. As seen in pictures 3) Stick each halve strip in corresponding spots of Tablet and mounting areas near gearshift and lower dash (CD slot). 4) You can choose to add more strip surface or less depending on how solid you want the mount to be. Presto, you have an in-car application mount of the tablet! If you have 3G service or can hotspot your phone to the tablet, even better. You'll have all sorts of fun apps to play with (while NOT driving) and can buy music, use Pandora, use drive navigation...hell check stocks prices, facebook, etc. Enjoy! GOOD JOB THOUGH!! im thinking of putting like a scoop on my dash and drilling it in but i havent seen my car in a while and not too sure if it would take up too much visability on the windshield.. i dont think so though... looking at doing something like this hopefully this was done on a 1 series though... and i have no clue where to find this part |

yea like just the actualy scoop or whatever, but I dont really wanna dig a whole into my dash for it. cuz I want it to be reversable if one day I want to sell the car or just take it off I dont have to worry about a giant whole on the dash... just something I cant tape on or something.
Atleast for now I dont think i want to take such drastic way of doing it yet... But I will probably do it later on anyways just not ready for it yet just want to tape like a tray or scoop where I can then put the play book into |

Like I will drill a playbook cover into this holder that way i can just click the playbook into it... but the actually holder would be taped on to the dash.
the wiring I will have to figure out still. As I dont want to drill wholes into the actual dash but I dont want a wire going free int he middle of my car. maybe feed it into the vent area and pull it out from there not sure... |
