Sorry for the stupid question.
The v band clamp is where the turbo outlet clamps to the downpipe. You reuse the factory ones.

You can email VRSF and they will send you new nuts and bolts if your pipes didn't come with the ones now included with the pipes.

Thank god! When I heard it my stomach tied up in knots, I thought they shifted and I would have to get under there again

Whatever you do, just spend an extra $10 and buy new bolts. The ones that come with the DPs are garbage. The DPs are great though.

Oh and if you don't have smaller hands, rent a friend lol. It's really tight in there.

I just finished installing mine last night

Yep that's what happened to mine. They instantly stripped. Luckily I was able to back them off with my air ratchet. Looking at them, I knew. I just was in a rush and ended up making it a longer project.

It did take me a few tries to get them situated correctly.

My last suggestion: Once you have them tightened down, don't put the undertray on.(This will save you some time). Now go for a drive and test them out. Make sure theres no noises or extra vibrations in the steering wheel. If there is, go back under and make more adjustments. If there's not, still go back under and take a look and verify nothing's touching.

Good luck

What did everyone do about the gaskets? Some said that they are cheap as well, did you all just re-use the stock ones?

How much is a new gasket from BMW parts dept?

Yeah, we've officially upgraded to better/stronger bolts for all the newer sets. Anyone who needs a set, e-mail me your order number & we'll get them out
