WHY!!! help please...
I need a 7 seater, very soon. and I won't be the driver, my mom will be. I was thinking about x5, but again, i am not the driver, so i can't find any good reason for me to buy a $70k car and let an old lady who doesn't know the difference between bmw and ford to drive it. Plus, the 3rd row seats are very small, just like the new acura mdx. btw, mdx will cost $50k, too. So I try to look for some mini van, like sienna. I make a list what i want, but the optional package doesn't really let me make any choice. The final price come up is $37k. WTF, a minivan will cost almost like the e90. that's $hit.
I need some suggetions, which car is good. bigger room, for 2 little kids, must be 7 seater. I don't want to see service department very other months. reasonable price, because I won't really drive it, max will be twice a year. please help.

siennas are awesome for minivans. If not, i'd say the honda odsyssy is a good family car and i think that's pretty much the market since everything else sucks
now if your'e looking for a full van, i can recommend a used eurovan. those things are huge! and my parents love to drive it (more than the E90 WHY?!), so i'm assuming it's nice, slow, limited roll, and very practical |

i drive a sienna sometimes. its my bitch car, the car I take to Costco as I buy copious stacks of water, soda, toilet paper, frozen food, pies, etc.
i would suggest the honda odyssey. the pacifica looks pretty nice as well but i think that might just be a 5 seater. or if its a 7/8 seater... its gonna be tight in the rear.

from personal experience, i would go with the new honda odyssey. my dad has one and its a pretty nice car, smooth drive, right amount of horse power, and save gas even though its a v6 because it'll shut off 3 cylinders when crusing. i'm pretty sure he got his for around $37,000 came with navi and dvd player, he pretty much got the car right below their touring model of the car.

Have a look at a Mazda MPV (starting just below $23K) or a Mazda CX-9
(starting just below $30K). My father in law has 2 Mazdas and I have to say I am impressed with the brand. Tough cars, reliable, low service cost, no issues so far (and one of them has 230,000 miles on it) and with good economy. |

Minivans can be expensive. Siennas range from $23k-38k for th XLE AWD.
I think the MDX can be have for around $40k. I would get that or a Sienna LE (around $27k for a fairly equipped one). |

Nissan Pathfinder is a good mid-size SUV.......with flat fold-down 3rd row seat.

honestly go with honda odyssey... obviously its looks cant be compared to an x5... but it functions alot better than the x5. VTEC FTW! haha just kidding.

I rented a Sienna once, and it was kick ass. I also rented a new pathfinder, and those things are roomy. Toyota is coming out with a new highlander which seats 7. But it won't be coming out until later in the year, not to mention it probably will be tight. You can also try looking at the 4Runner. I think there is 3rd row seat option.
