I think it's done now. . e90

I finally went four months without doing a mod. Hopefully everything is now what I envisioned my car to look like. The car had a couple sets of OEM wheels and tires before I settled on the VMRs. The last cosmetic mod was the M-Tech rep bumper from JGMODS.

It wasn't a full photo shoot, but I managed to get one good shot this weekend while driving up in Point Reyes, CA.

Overall, I was going for an OEM+ look, nothing too aggressive but just a bit more sport.

Cosmetic Mods:
M-Tech Rep bumper
VMR VB3s with PSS
LCI headlights
Matte Black Grilles
OEM Blackline Tails
Smoked LED sidemarkers
CF Roundels
Lux Angel Eyes
OEM trunk spoiler
LED license plate lights

Performance:
Euro AirBox
3-Stage Intake Manifold
Active Autowerke Stage-2 Tune
OEM Performance Exhaust

Electronics:
V1, Hardwired
Laser Interceptor Quad

Suspension:
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Eibach Pro-Kit

I think it looks awesome man! Very classy. Where people take a second look but not looking ostentatious.

Check out car-part.com to source the manifold. Mine is a 325, so the oil separator may be different in the 328. If you move forward I could lend you a hand.

Thanks, how's the car? Not giving you any grief so far? Performance wise.

It sounds good and runs good. Occasionally if it's really hot outside, I experience a bit of throttle surging at RPMs near WOT, almost like the throttle body is opening and closing slightly. The car has been running the tune for about 7k miles. It doesn't bother me much, since it never gets that hot here in SF. I've been told by a few people and AA to reset the adaptations on the throttle body and intake manifold. Just haven't had a chance to do it yet.

Overall, the difference in power is noticeable since the 325s only have 215 stock, plus mine is an XI, so I'm dragging around another 200lbs of transfer case and front diff. Despite the minor issue, I'd still prefer the car with the tune for the throttle remap alone.

This may be different from the throttle adaptation. The throttle body adaptation and intake manifold adaptation can be reset via coding or BT cable.

Very nice ! Famous quote on the 1Addicts forum; "You're done modding when you sell the car".
